Cordyceps in Shakeology? Oh yes…….

Can you imagine how excited I was when I found Cordyceps as an ingredient in my Shakeology? I used to purchase these VERY EXPENSIVE munchable tonic mushrooms as an all natural stimulant. Oh, and a side note they are not BANNED from international competition. I love them. Not just for their medicinal purposes but they get their potency from a very unusual transformation process.

I like breaking things down into what I call “simple”. Basically a Cordycep starts off as a silkworm larva and transforms into a mushroom. How cool is that? The only insect we know that does this. The energy it takes to actually go through this transformation is the energy I get when I eat them (or rather now, drink them).

They are highly beneficial to us in many ways – used to treat coughs, chronic bronchitis, respiratory disorders, kidney disorders, nighttime urination, male secual problems, anemia, irregular heartbeat, high cholesterol, liver disorders, dizziness, weakness, ringing in the ears, unwanted weight loss, and opium addiction.

They also strengthen the immune system, improve athletic performance, reduce side effects of aging, promote longer life, improve liver function in people with hepatitis B.

As you can imagine, purchasing these has become very costly. However, I was SHOCKED when I found them to be one of the 70+ Superfoods in my Shakeology drink. Now you wonder why I’m so hooked on this stuff? This is only 1 of the many very expensive superfoods I now get every morning in Shakeology – The best meal of my day!

Are you interested in trying it? Let me know or click below. I would not recommend anything if I didn’t believe in it, take it, and 100% stand behind the company and people.

#1 Priority returning from Ireland?

proteinshakeSo call me crazy! But the very first thing I do when I get home from my trip to Ireland is prepare a Sunwarrior protein smoothie. In terms of food this is probably the biggest thing I missed while I was traveling. I just can’t survive without my protein smoothies so I thought I would share with you my smoothie I made this morning.

  • Sunwarrior Chocolate Protein
  • Flax Seeds (1/2 tsp)
  • Chia Seeds (1/2 tsp)
  • Hemp Seeds (1/2 tsp)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1 cup filtered mineral water (minerals added back in)
  • 1/2 cup organic Greek Yoghurt (even more protein goodness but added to creaminess of the drink)
  • 1/2 cup Tibetan Magic
  • 1/2 Banana
